TC Lottery - Responsible Gaming

TC Lottery responsible gaming: how to set deposit and time limits, recognise problem-gambling warning signs, self-exclude, and reach confidential 18+ support helplines.

Play within your limits

TC Lottery is designed to be affordable entertainment, not a source of income. Before every session, decide on a fixed rupee amount you are comfortable losing entirely, and treat it exactly as you would a cinema ticket or a restaurant meal: money spent on enjoyment, not investment. A practical starting point for casual players is ₹100 to ₹500 per week, reviewed monthly alongside your household budget so it never crowds out rent, groceries or EMI payments.

Track every deposit through the UPI apps you already use. PhonePe and Google Pay both display a full transaction history under "Passbook" or "All Transactions." Cross-checking your TC Lottery deposits against that feed takes under two minutes and keeps gaming spend visible alongside essential outgoings. Never fund play from money set aside for bills, and never use credit to chase a loss, a loss made on credit costs you twice.

Set a phone alarm at the start of every session. Thirty minutes is a healthy default; extend only if you are still inside your pre-set rupee limit. Taking regular breaks breaks the tunnel-focus that leads to overspending, and keeping gaming as one leisure activity among many, sport, socialising, hobbies, ensures it stays in proportion to your life.

Warning signs of problem gambling

Problem gambling rarely appears overnight. It typically starts with small boundary-creeps: a slightly higher deposit here, one extra session there. Specific early patterns to watch for include exceeding your weekly limit two weeks in a row, checking TC Lottery results repeatedly between sessions, or feeling irritable on days you do not play. If wins and losses have become the main measure of how your day went, that is a meaningful warning.

Financial red flags matter just as much. If you have ever transferred money via PhonePe or GPay to your TC Lottery wallet and immediately regretted it, borrowed from family to keep playing, or delayed a household bill because your balance was spent on gaming, these signals warrant immediate action, starting with the limit tools described below.

Social and emotional signs include hiding gaming activity from a spouse or parent, believing only a large win can solve a financial problem, or losing interest in activities that previously brought you joy. Two or more of these signs appearing together is a strong indicator that self-help tools alone may not be sufficient and that speaking to a professional counsellor would be worthwhile. Deposit, loss and time limits

TC Lottery provides three self-imposed limit types inside your account dashboard under Settings → Responsible Gaming. A deposit limit caps the total rupees you can add to your wallet per day, week or month. A loss limit halts further play once your net losses in a chosen period reach your defined figure. A session time limit triggers a mandatory break prompt after a set number of minutes, for example, 30 or 60.

Limits take effect immediately and cannot be loosened for 24 hours, a deliberate pause that protects you from impulsive decisions made mid-session. Increasing a limit requires a 7-day waiting period, giving you time to reconsider. Review your limits every month alongside your PhonePe or GPay statements to confirm they still reflect your actual disposable income rather than wishful thinking.

Self-exclusion and cool-off

A cool-off period temporarily suspends your TC Lottery account for a short window, 24 hours, 48 hours or 7 days, when you need a quick reset without permanently closing your account. During a cool-off you cannot log in, deposit or play any games. To activate one, go to Settings → Responsible Gaming → Take a Break and select your preferred duration. The suspension begins immediately and cannot be reversed mid-period.

Self-exclusion is a longer-term measure covering periods of 30 days, 90 days, 6 months or 1 year. During self-exclusion your account is fully blocked, promotional communications are stopped, and re-registration attempts are declined. When your chosen period ends, a mandatory 7-day reflection window applies before reinstatement can be requested, giving you a genuine pause rather than an automatic return.
